Media Capital Associates LLC announces the recent acquisition of L R Financial Corporation, an equipment financing and leasing company that operated as Charter Equipment Leasing Corporation in Beverly Hills, CA from 1977 to 1994.

In 1995, Media Capital was started and the focus was on the media, broadcast and entertainment industries. Over the past nine years the firm expanded its expertise into many different industries, including medical, manufacturing, rental and printing equipment.

The new name, CHARTER CAPITAL, will not only be a link to the company’s past, but also appropriate given the increasing market for equipment financing and leasing outside of the media industry.
