Carey Wilbur co-founded Charter Capital with his father, Rick Wilbur, in 1995. With over a decade of experience at Charter Capital, Carey still looks forward to growing the business with the same eagerness and enthusiasm he possessed during his first days with the company. As Charter Capital’s National Account Manager, his business practices are based on long lasting client relationships built on dedication, honesty, innovation and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

Carey grew up in Southern California and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. He has worked alongside Rick throughout his life, gaining invaluable experience in the Commercial Financing industry. Carey attributes Charter Capital’s success to remaining committed to its core values.

In May 2005, Carey and his spouse, Jennie, welcomed Macie Jane to their family. Macie is a spirited young lady and brings a ton of joy to the Wilbur and Charter families. They also have two rambunctious Labrador Retrievers, Kobe and Potter. When they are not chasing their daughter or playing with their dogs, they hike, bike and enjoy water and ski sports.
